Gravesham Leisure introduced fencing to the area in 1986 by hiring Professor A.T.(Alf) Simmonds one of the country’s leading 3-weapon coaches and arranging special courses and publicity.
The club was formed almost immediately and has prospered in the intervening years with a special interest in the development of youth fencing.
The club currently has around 50 adults and Junior members
