A huge congratulations to Kevin, who finished a very commendable 9^th place, in both the epee and foil competitions, at the Civil Service 2024 National Service Championships on the weekend of 30^th November/1^st December 2024.  Kev was extremely pleased with both of his results.  The foil was to be expected; not being his primary weapon, but the epee result was particularly pleasing given the quality of the field.  The highlight of the day was scoring points against the eventual winner in the poules of the epee, with Kevin declaring that the winning fencer was of quite considerable quality.  Well done, Kevin, hopefully you’ll get a nice rest over the festive period now and, come back fighting with a renewed force in 2025!
